Youth training continues on Saturday morning at Clanabogan from 10.30am to 12noon. The U10s qualified for the semi-finals of the all-Ulster Moy tournament at the weekend. Having progressed through their group, they beat Cappagh in the quarter-final before losing to eventual winners Clonduff, from Co Down, in the semi-final. Well done to all the boys involved. Well done also to the U10 player of the week Stevie Coyle. Monday’s U13 game has been rearranged to this evening (Thursday). Bus leaves for Augher at 5.30pm sharp. Please bring £2 for the bus. Congratulations to Ryan Clarke, winner of this week’s £10 youth draw. There will be a youth meeting on Monday at 7pm. The club are looking for young people to compete in Scor na nOg. If you are still under 17 on January 1 2012 and can sing, dance, recite, play traditional Irish music or represent Drumragh in a quiz please get in touch. We need singers for solo and group. You will really enjoy participation in this important cultural event, meet new friends and use your talents. Following last weekend’s successful first rounders session, there is another game on Saturday at Clanabogan from 6pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome. Anyone who would like a ticket for the All-Ireland football final should submit their request to Michelle Cox (07704760657) by 9pm tonight (Thursday). There are only a small number of tickets available so club protocol applies with distribution. All outstanding Great Solo Run monies are due in by 7pm tomorrow (Friday) at the clubrooms. A wrap-up meeting for the Solo Run will take place shortly afterwards. Any runner who did not receive a jersey should contact a member of the Solo Run team before tomorrow’s meeting. There are commemorative Solo Run mugs available for sale for £5, also from Michelle. A great memento of a brilliant weekend. The Drumragh 10k run/5k fun run/walk takes place on Saturday September 24. You can now register online via www.niathletics.org or 10krun.drumraghgfc.net. A five-week pre-race training programme will continue on Tuesday at Clanabogan at 6.45pm for runners of all levels led by fitness coach Ryan Cunningham. Gaelic4Mothers training continues tonight (Thursday) from 8pm to 9pm. The national blitz is in Portmarnock, Co Dublin, on October 15 concluding the mum’s season. A fundraising table quiz is being held in Clanabogan Country Club on Friday September 30. The club would like to congratulate Donna Taggart on the release of her CD Celtic Lady, available to purchase locally. St Colmcilles’ Primary School are holding an open team golf competition at Omagh Golf Club on Sunday September 25 to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Timesheets are available at the golf club. It costs £40 per team. All support welcome. Sympathy is extended to the McDaid family on the death of Bernie. This week’s winning Club Drumragh lotto letters were C K N P Y. There was no jackpot winner but there was match 4 winner – Mrs Madeleine Donnelly who wins £100. Next week’s jackpot will be £2,950 and the draw will be held in Top of the Town.

LADIES NOTES
Training as usual for U16s on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm in Clanabogan. £1 for lotto. Next fixture is Championship at home. The U13 development competition is on Saturday. Youth training continues Saturday from 10.30am to 11.30am. The 10k/5k takes place at Clanabogan Saturday September 24 at midday. Pre-race training programme continues on Tuesdays at Clanabogan at 6.45pm for runners of all levels led by fitness coach Ryan Cunningham. Tyrone ladies are holding Take Me Out on Saturday October 15 in O Hagan’s Bar Eskra in aid of the Michaela Foundation and the county development teams. If anyone is interested in taking part or know anyone who would please contact Jackie. Tickets will be on sale at £5 each. The club are looking for young people to compete in Scor na nOg.
