Well done to the seniors and management on making the League play-offs. The club are hosting an U10 blitz on Saturday at Clanabogan with teams from across Ulster participating. It begins at 10am with teams arriving at 9.30am.

We need as much help as possible with lining out pitches, marshalling, refereeing, making sandwiches etc so please get in touch with Fiachra Woods (07795842567) if you can lend a hand. There is no youth training because of the blitz. Gaelic Start will this week travel to Dr Gurgley’s for 10.30am on Saturday and enjoy an hours play. Parents are asked to bring £1.50 per child. There will then be a break for a few weeks before the start of the winter programme from the first week of November until Christmas. Hard luck to the U13s who were beaten by Stewartstown last Friday. Good luck to Drumragh stalwarts Damien Mullin and Gareth Starrs when the latter leads Translink onto Croke Park on Saturday to play in a firms competition.

Best wishes to Sean O’Neill and Edel Mullan who get married tomorrow. Gaelic4Mothers training is on tonight (Thursday) at Clanabogan from 8pm to 9pm. The club are looking for young people to compete in Scor na nOg. If you are still under 17 on January 1 2012 and can sing, dance, recite, play traditional Irish music or represent Drumragh in a quiz please get in touch. We need singers for solo and group. You will really enjoy participation in this important cultural event, meet new friends and use your talents. Can anyone interested please get in touch with Dermot (07808472669), Paula (07909685737) or Mairead (07867621661). Sympathy is extended to the Gormley family on the death of Mary, mother of Marie Bresnahan.

This week’s winning Club Drumragh lotto letters were C D E P T. There was no jackpot winner but the five £10 winners were Mary McGlone, Leah Quinn, Aideen Campbell, Dominic Keenan and Deaglan O’Coinn. Next week’s jackpot will be £3,100 and the draw will be held in The Weigh Inn.
