The Minor Girls had a convincing 3-19 to 1-4 win over Fintona yesterday evening at Clanabogan Park. The sides were evenly matched in the opening quarter, Fintona scored an early goal and Drumragh hit 4 consecutive points to take the lead after the 10th minute.
From there the girls pushed on and worked hard throughout as a team and hit some fantastic scores. The defence were solid and worked tirelessly throughout whilst the forwards worked well together and kicked some outstanding scores.
A great team performance overall with special mention to our younger contingent of Ella Smyth, Emma Lynch and Aoife Marshall who each were outstanding.
The Minor Girls now look forward to their championship quarter final on Monday at home to Strabane at 6.45pm.
