Clanabogan Park is hosting the first Coach Education workshop of the season this coming Wednesday 11th January. The workshop, Kicking For Scores, will be an interactive indoor coaching workshop focusing on developing players kicking ability. We encourage all of our Coaches to attend this interesting and informative workshop.

Wednesday 11th January
Course: Kicking For Scores
Venue: Drumragh GAC

Time: 7:30pm  Tutor: Tony Scullion

This is an interactive indoor coaching workshop. It is open to all coaches and will use drills, games and video clips to look at the skill of kicking for scores. At the end of the Session Coaches will have a selection of Drills and Games to improve Score-taking for Points and Goals. For more information contacttony.scullion.ulster@gaa.ie or 07795120438

Wednesday 18th January
Course: Winning the Break Ball
Venue: Clonoe GAC
Tutor: Shane McCann Time: 7:30pm

This is an interactive indoor coaching workshop. It is open to all coaches and will use drills, games and video clips to break down the various coaching points for winning break ball and regaining possession. Wednesday 1st February

Course: Kicking For Possession
Venue: Ardboe GAC
Tutor: Roger Keenan  Time: 7:30pm

This is an interactive indoor coaching workshop. It is open to all coaches and will use drills, games and video clips to coach the skill of kicking for possession. GAA Child Protection Workshops

Thursday 12th January – Cookstown GAC

Thursday 9th February – Strabane GAC (Course subsidised by Strabane/Derry Council for Clubs in area)

Wednesday 22nd February – Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey

All coach education courses will commence at 9:30am on the Saturday, Friday evening sessions will commence at 7pm (this only applies to the award one youth/adult courses)

All child protection workshops will commence at 7:30pm

 

Course Fees

Award One Course – £55

Foundation Award Course – £25 (this includes child protection fee)

Child Protection Workshop – £10

 

Coaches who attend the foundation coaching award course must also complete the child protection workshop, failure to do so will result in them not being certified as a foundation award coach.
