• Thank you to Neamh Woods, Niall Sludden, Shirley McCay, Robbie McDaid, Ronan McNamee, Orla Bannon and everyone who helped organise and attended the ‘Chatting With Champions’ evening on Monday. A great night with some good stories and important advice from five local sporting role models.
• The AGM was held on Sunday and the following officers were elected for 2020: Chairman: Adrian O’Kane; Vice-chairman: Mickey Gallagher; Secretary: Jackie McSorley; Assistant secretary: Shauna Crawford; Treasurer: Cathal Gormley; Assistant treasurer: Joe Mulrine; PRO: Patrick Griffin; Registrar: Mary Maguire; County board rep: Paddy Gallagher; Childrens Officer: Siobhan Devine. Best of luck to them all over the next 12 months.
• Congratulations to December’s Club Drumragh Draw winners Charlie Quinn (£200), Melanie O’Kane, Anne Doris and Declan Cox (£100 each). If you would like to join the Club Drumragh Draw please contact any committee member.
• The Highway to Health Programme at Clanabogan is underway. Circuits run on Tuesday from 7pm and Walking Club on Thursday from 8.00pm. More information available on Facebook.
• This year’s Match For Cathal will be held on Friday December 27 at 2.30pm in Clanabogan.
• Please support our Winter Fundraiser by purchasing a £10 ticket in the GAA National Draw. Tickets are available from players, committee members and supporters. The prizes, which total over £30,000 and include a Renault Clio, are all put up by Croke Park, and Drumragh keeps 100 per cent of the money raised.
• Sympathy is extended to the Drumm family on the death of Ann.
• This week’s winning Club Drumragh Lotto letters were C I U W X. There was no jackpot winner but the five £10 winners were John Broderick, Edna Doherty, Marian McKenna, Gavin Quinn and Mickey McNally. Lotto tickets can be bought at Clanabogan Country Club, Lynch’s Vivo, Sallys, Broderick’s Bar, Top Of The Town and The Coach Inn.
