Lynch’s Vivo Drumragh 10K/5K run returns

The Lynch’s Vivo Drumragh10K/5K Run was recently launched at Clanabogan Park with Tyrone minors Conor Owens, Fiachra Donnelly and Ronan Strain, Drumragh senior player Claire McLaughlin, sponsor Dermot Lynch from Vivo Stores, Clanabogan, and Peter and Adam Dolan, from The Enda Dolan Foundation.

The Lynchs’ Vivo Drumragh 10k/5k returns to Clanabogan on Saturday November 6, starting at 11.30am, having taken a break last year due to Covid-19.

The event was first run in 2010, and now fits snugly into the local athletics calendar. Drumragh are pleased that our charity partner once again is The Enda Dolan Foundation.

There are a huge amount of runners participating in the Couch to 5k at Youth Sport each Tuesday evening, and are raring to go in the Drumragh 5k.

The routes for our 5k and 10k are well established through the scenic Cavanacaw, Tattysallagh, and Camphill.

Popular 10k winners have included Stevie Duncan, Gideon Kimosop, Paul Barber and the current holder Eoin Mullen, and the ladies holder is Aine Donnelly.

Since the inaugural race, Dermot Lynch has been the loyal sponsor, throwing in his full support behind the community event.

Poignantly the 10th anniversary of a much revered Drumragh member Cathal McLaughlin passed on October 12, and the McLaughlin family shall also come together to join.

Event registration shall be available on the evening before the race from 7pm to 8pm, and on the morning of the race from 9.30am.
