Drumragh minor ladies before their game against Dromore on Tuesday
Drumragh minor ladies lost out to neighbours Dromore in the league at Clanabogan on Tuesday.
The visitors got off to a quick start and built up an early lead. Drumragh though started to come more into the game after the opening 10 minutes. Genevieve Norris, Lily O’Kane and Cassie McCabe stopped a number of dangerous attacks, and from one of those turnovers, Rihanna Barrett got Drumragh on the board with a super score and Caoimhe McCarron then kicked a free after Emma McCloskey had been fouled.
Dromore answered back with a number of scores but Drumragh finished the half in the ascendency.
Caoimhe McCarron converted another free, Rihanna Mullin hit a fantastic point from play having been set up by Caoimhe and Josie Hughes and Emma-Cait Gallagher scored a goal after good build up from play from Mia Feeney, Mairead Corrigan and Aoibhinn Gallagher.
Caoimhe McCarron and Emma McCloskey were also on target before the half-time whistle while Drumragh goalkeeper Aine MacRory made a fantastic save with the last action of the half.

Dromore stretched out their lead at the start of the half, with Caoimhe McCarron responding for Drumragh with a free after a strong run from Evie Gallagher had been stopped illegally.
The away side got through for a couple of goals but Drumragh fought on to the end with Rihanna Mullin finding the back of the net at the end of a team move involving Fionnuala Clarke, Iona Mills and Grace McCusker. Rihanna Barrett showed good determination to score while Emma-Cait Gallagher also pointed having done well to win the ball back in the Dromore full-back line.
