Drumragh senior men beat Fintona in the league play-off in Trillick on Sunday

DRUMRAGH……….1-10
FINTONA……………..0-8

Drumragh senior men are one game away from securing a place in Intermediate football in 2023 following a five-point play-off win over Fintona in Trillick on Sunday.

Drumragh led by two points at half-time. An early goal from Aaron Montgomery along with points from Daniel O’Neill and Eoin Montgomery saw Drumragh off to a good start.

Playing against a strong wind, the Drumragh defence did really well to restrict Fintona to only five points in the opening 30 minutes.

Further points from Kian Murphy and Martin Taggart and a goal-saving block from Aaron Montgomery ensured Drumragh went into the break with that lead.

The Drumragh defence continued to perform well and they limited Fintona to three points in the second half.

Daniel O’Neill, Eoin Montgomery and Ronan Maguire all put over good scores from play, sending Drumragh through to the play-off final against Clogher this weekend.
