Club notes – January 24

• Good luck to Evie Gallagher, Aine MacRory, Aoibhinn Gallagher, Emma-Cait Gallagher and Loreto Convent Omagh in their Ulster U20 final on Thursday. Best of luck also to Niall McCarney and Omagh CBS who play Patrician High, Carrickmacross, in the MacRory Cup semi-final this Saturday at Monaghan Harps (2pm).

• Best wishes to Joanne Barrett and Tyrone Ladies who play Monaghan away on Sunday in the National League. They had a good win over Roscommon on Sunday.

• Congratulations to Seamus Woods who became Drumragh chairperson last week.

• In conjunction with Emily’s Mission To Walk, Drumragh are encouraging youth members to walk or run 1km a day during January, seeking a donation of £1 a day from someone different each day. This is part fundraiser, part exercise-driven, and feel free to use the new 1km trail at Clanabogan Park. To register, text your name and number to Adrian O’Kane (07748 632619) or any coach, then keep your own record sheet of donations. Drumragh will also be once again participating in the GAA ‘Light up Ireland! initiative and Every Step Counts challenge. And as part of it, organised walks will continue on Thursdays at 7pm and Sundays at 12pm at Clanabogan Park.

• Well done to this month’s Club Drumragh Draw winners Stephanie O’Kane (£200), Ryan McGread, Benny Bresnahan and Frank McGlone (£100 each). If you would like to enter the Club Drumragh Draw, please contact Sharon Lynch (077 3271 5333).
