LADIES NOTES

Congratulations to the U14 girls who completed the league and Championship double with victory over Trillick on Friday. It was a superb display from what is a very young team and was a fitting end to a fantastic season which saw the girls complete their league and championship campaign with a record of nine wins from 9 games. The game itself was played in an excellent spirit which did enormous credit to ladies football and the shield was presented to team captain, Josephine Quinn, by the Chairman of the Tyrone Ladies County Board, Martin Conway. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, extended family members and Club members who travelled in such numbers to support the girls and who have been such fantastic supporters all year. Thanks also to Ciaran, Micheal, Darragh and Ronan who provided great support to the girls on what was a particularly humid night. The U10 girls also took part in a blitz at Clanabogan on Saturday and performed brilliantly, so well done to the team of Anna Kerr, Sorcha McKenna, Julie-Ann Quinn, Orla Duncan, Orla Loughran, Hannah McSorley,Rebecca McSorley Mia Gallagher, Emma Cait & Aoibhinn Gallagher, Niamh & Marie Tres McAnenly.
