Well Done to our Minor Ladies who defeated Edendork in the first game of their League on Saturday. The Girls made the journey to the Dungannon based Club in what was for many their first game since the Under 16 Double Final wins in 2014. The girls had a tough first half against a very physical Edendork side and left the field at half time down by 7 points (1-7 to 0-3).
The entire Team came out fighting in the next half, with renewed determination to come away with a win in the first game of the campaign. The Girls kept Edendork to only 3 points during the 30 minutes of play and managed to make a fantastic come back, scoring 3-4. The final score was Drumragh 3-7 – Edendork 1-10. It’s a brilliant result against a very strong Edendork team. Well Done to Jimmy and the Girls.
