Today we broke the World Record for Most Players in an Gaelic Exhibition Match. The day started at 10.45am with our U8’s and U10’s taking the field along with some of our minors. The day went fantastically with great weather and a great supporting crowd. Thanks to everyone who participated, everyone who volunteered, everyone who fundraised and everyone else who helped in any way; it was a huge effort and comittment.
It was fantastic to see generations of families playing together today and especially to see all those who had never played on our pitch before. The final score was 42-34 to 32-36 to Drumragh (Green).
We also had some very special guests in attendance today including Barry McElduff, Fergal Logan, Paddy Hunter, Noel McGinn and many others.
