Our Senior Ladies were unfortunate to lose against a strong Loughmacrory side on Sunday night in the Championship Quarter Final. Loughmacrory made the better start with a forceful back line stifling the Drumragh forwards. Drumragh however were able to get two points on the board and went in at half time down by three.
The Ladies came out more determined in the second half and produced a much improved display. Points from several players including Neamh Woods, Eva McCaul and Clare McSorley reduced the gap however Loughmacrory held out to win by two points. The final score was 0-9 to 0-7.
The Ladies will now turn their heads to the League campaign in which they have already made a very strong start.
