Our Senior Men produced a great display of football on Sunday in their first round Championship game against Brocagh. The Team produced a brilliant second half display to beat Brocagh 2-10 to 0-5. There was little between the sides in the first half with Tommy Murphy and Shane Cleary among the point scorers while Michael Hughes and James McKiver also pointed for Brocagh.
A Hughes free for the Emmetts reduced the deficit to the minimum on the restart but the Loughshore men were to score just once more as Drumragh took over. Tommy Murphy, Paddy Colgan and Gavin Quinn had points before substitute Kevin Marron bagged a goal. In injury time at the end of the game Murphy put the icing on the cake with a second major to take his personal haul to 1-5.
