Club notes – January 17
Club notes – January 17

• Good luck to Joanne Barrett and Tyrone Ladies who play Roscommon in their opening league game this Sunday at Healy Park.

• Well done to Evie Gallagher, Aine MacRory, Aoibhinn Gallagher and Emma-Cait Gallagher who helped Loreto Grammar Omagh into the Ulster U20 final last week. The final will take place next Thursday.

• In conjunction with Emily’s Mission To Walk, Drumragh are encouraging youth members to walk or run 1km a day during January, seeking a donation of £1 a day from someone different each day. This is part fundraiser, part exercise-driven, and feel free to use the new 1km trail at Clanabogan Park. To register, text your name and number to Adrian O’Kane (07748 632619) or any coach, then keep your own record sheet of donations. Drumragh will also be once again participating in the GAA ‘Light up Ireland! initiative and Every Step Counts challenge. And as part of it, organised walks will continue on Thursdays at 7pm and Sundays at 12pm at Clanabogan Park.

• Anyone interested in representing the club in Scór na nOg is asked to contact Dermot O’Kane (078 0847 2669).

• This week’s winning Club Drumragh Lotto letters were B D R X Y. There was no jackpot winner and the one match 4 winner, who wins £100, was Eugene Donnelly. Next week’s jackpot is £10,000. Lotto tickets can be purchased online at www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Drumragh_Sarsfields_GAC. You can now set up a recurring payment to ensure you never miss out on the weekly club lotto. Drop off points for paper tickets are Clanabogan Country Club, Vivo Stores, Clanabogan, Broderick’s, Top Of The Town, Sallys and The Coach Inn. Full details on the lotto can be found at https://drumraghsarsfields.com/lotto-2/.
