Drumragh U16 boys continued their good form with an impressive win over Moortown at Clanabogan Park on Thursday.
The home side got off to a quick start with Conor Fyffe and Dylan Lowry on target with points. Dara Cox set up Turlough Collins for a goal while Conor Gormley also kicked a point.
Moortown battled back, making it a one-score game midway through the first half. But Drumragh were able to increase their lead before half-time with a Dylan Lowry goal, and points from Turlough Collins (3), Conor Gormley, Ryan Baxter and Connor McLaughlin.
Drumragh kept up the pressure in the second half with further goals coming from Shay Donnell, Dylan Lowry and Frankie Monk (2). The Drumragh defence were excellent throughout the game, making it difficult for the Moortown attack.
Points came from Conor Gormley (3), Turlough Collins (2), Aidan McCarney (2), and Dylan Lowry as they maintained their unbeaten run in the league.
