Drumragh senior men beat Errigal Ciaran in Dunmoyle on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Eoin Montgomery, Niall McCarney and Martin Taggart helped secure their second league win from two games.
Paddy Colgan gave Drumragh the lead but the home side went in front with a goal. Niall McCarney responded for Drumragh, with Errigal Ciaran tagging on a free.
Drumragh took the lead when Eoin Montgomery confidently converted a penalty midway through the half.
Benny Drumm and Daniel O’Neill increased Drumragh’s lead with good efforts from play. Back came Errigal Ciaran with a couple of frees, but Drumragh had the final say of the half with Niall McCarney reaching up highest to palm Benny Drumm’s ball inside to the net.
Daniel O’Neill opened the scoring in the second half with a well-struck 45. Errigal Ciaran answered back with their second goal of the game.
A patient attack ended with a Ben Monk point. However, two further frees from Errigal Ciaran left it a one-point game with 15 minutes remaining.
But Drumragh took back control of the game with three points on the bounce courtesy of Malachy McManus and Eoin Montgomery (2).
Errigal Ciaran threatened again with Drumragh goalkeeper James Colgan making a number of good saves. Martin Taggart added goal number three, while Benny Dumm added a fine point from distance to help secure Drumragh’s win.
