Drumragh reserves recorded another win in the league after a convincing win over Clann na nGael at Clanabogan on Friday evening.
It was a very good performance from Drumragh who defended strongly – restricting the visitors to a single score – and played some nice attacking football.
Johnny Browne got Drumragh going with a free with Paddy Roche quickly doubling the lead with a good score from play. Paddy added a goal and tagged on another two points as the home side continued their confident start to the game.
Oisin McCullagh got in for Drumragh’s second goal while James Campbell, Paddy Roche and Ryan McGuigan stretched out Drumragh’s lead with points. Johnny Browne fired in a goal leaving Drumragh in a strong position at the break.
Brendan Quinn scored a goal and a point at the start of the second half. Clann na nGael got on the scoreboard with a free, but Drumragh stood up well defensively for the rest of the game. And further points from Blaine Feeney, Paddy Roche and Brendan Quinn completed an impressive win for Drumragh.
