• Congratulations to the U16 boys, who beat Stewartstown in the championship final on Saturday, completing the double after winning the league title earlier in the year. Well done to the team and management on a fantastic season. The U14 boys play Omagh at St Patrick’s Park this evening (Tuesday) at 6.45pm, and Donaghmore at Clanabogan this Saturday (11am). The U16 girls play Aghyaran away in the championship on Sunday at 11am. Good luck to both teams.
• Best of luck to both the senior ladies and senior men who are in championship action this week. Following their preliminary round win over Galbally on Saturday, the senior ladies play Clann na nGael in the quarter-final on Thursday at 6.45pm in Gortin. The senior men face Derrytresk in the first round on Sunday in Augher (3.30pm). The senior men lost to Eskra in the league on Friday. They have secured a spot in the play-offs to be played later in the year. The reserves beat Cookstown in the championship semi-final last week. They’ll play Drumquin in the final. Fixture details are still to be confirmed.
