• Commiserations to the minor boys who lost out to Moy in the league final on Sunday after a brilliant performance and game of football. That was the last game of football for the year. Thank you to all players and management teams for their hard work and dedication throughout 2023.

• The 53rd AGM was held on Monday evening at Clanabogan Park. Reports outlined a successful season with the Sarsfields competing in eight finals, and securing a return to Intermediate football. The 2024 committee is as follows: Seamus Woods (chairperson), Eoin McGread (vice-chairperson), Donna Walsh (secretary), Eimhear Maguire (assistant secretary), Shauna Crawford (registrar), Joe Mulrine (treasurer), John McCaul (assistant treasurer), Patrick Griffin (PRO), Siobhan Devine (children’s officer) and Gerry Madden (safeguarding officer).

• The club will be hosting a Christmas Bingo at the clubrooms tomorrow (Wednesday). Books cost £10 for adults and £5 for youth. Doors open at 7pm with eyes down at 7.30pm. All proceeds go to youth development within the club. Everyone invited to come along.

• Well done to this month’s Club Drumragh Draw winners Barry Cox (£200), Eugene Duffy, Fergal McCarney and Kevin Starrs (£100 each). If you would like to enter the Club Drumragh Draw, please contact Sharon Lynch on 077 3271 5333.

• This week’s winning Club Drumragh Lotto letters were B F Q Y Z. There was no jackpot winner and the five £10 winners were Joe Mulrine, Gerry Conlin, Comhaltas Cr na hÓmaigh, Oliver Boyle and Róisín Mhíc Cionnaith. Next week’s jackpot is £10,000. Lotto tickets can be purchased online at www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Drumragh_Sarsfields_GAC. You can now set up a recurring payment to ensure you never miss out on the weekly club lotto. Drop off points for paper tickets are Clanabogan Country Club, Colton Service Station, Clanabogan, Broderick’s, Top Of The Town, Sallys and The Coach Inn.

• The committee and members of Droim Ratha Na Sáirséalaigh CLG tender deepest sympathy to the McGuigan family, and the Kildress club, upon the passing of Matthew.
