Drumragh senior ladies progressed to the championship quarter-final with a good win over Drumquin at Clanabogan on Saturday evening.
The home side made a confident start to the game with Neamh Cleary, Caoimhe McCarron, Beth Donaghy, and Coblaith McKenna kicking points in the opening 10 minutes.
The first goal came via Caoimhe McCarron who quickly added another point, as did Rhianna Barrett, Evie Gallagher, Aine McManus and Beth Donaghy.
Drumragh finished the half strongly with the half-back line of Joanne Barrett, Evie Gallagher and Caitlin McCarron getting up the field to support the attack well. A brilliant lobbed finish from Shannon Starrs gave them their second goal, while Aine McManus and Evie also found the back of the net in the first half following good play from Neamh Cleary, Grace O’Neill and Coblaith McKenna. Joanne, Caoimhe McCarron and Rhianna Barrett tagged on points as well.

Neamh Cleary, Caoimhe McCarron and Rhianna Barrett scored early second-half goals with Beth Donaghy, Caoimhe and Dana Coyle on target with points.
Drumquin got in for a goal and a point, with the Drumragh defence, led by Julie-Anne Quinn, Clare McGread, and Grace McCusker, making them work hard for their scores.
Good build-up play from Beth Donaghy, Rihanna Mullin and Fionnghuala O’Neill saw Dana Coyle score a quick brace of goals, while Caoimhe McCarron also completed her hat-trick. Beth and Aine McManus rounded off an impressive Drumragh showing with late points.
