The sun was out in Pomeroy as the ball was thrown up… with Aidan McCarney breaking the ball into the stride of Conor Fyffe.

Ryan Baxter scored the first point from play helped by Oran Barrett.

Conor Gormley broke the Pomeroy kickout to win another point, followed by yet another point by Matthew Gallagher.

The defence continued well with Shea Mullin and Matthew Barrett winning the ball for Drumragh.

Conor Gormley played a blinder winning successive Pomeroy kick outs with the help of Frankie Monk and Ryan Baxter.

Pomeroy then went on a stretch with several attempts to score foiled by the strong defence of Lorcan McGrath, Oisin Walsh and strong goal keeping by Matthew O Doherty.

With points from Oran Barrett and Aidan McCarney Drumragh were 11 up at half time.

Drumragh started the second half well with Aidan McCarney and Oran Barrett adding to the scoreboard with points a piece.

First goal came with Lorcan McGrath on a defence splitting pass to James Fyffe who rattled the net!

Connor McLaughlin scored a long range point from play (just out of a 2 point range) and

The substitutes made a good impact with Tiernan O Donnell scoring the second goal, and Joseph Taggart and Dylan Lowry both contributing well. Two 45s from Aidan McCarney and two fisted points from Ryan Baxter and Oran Barrett, Drumragh were able to close out the game with every member of the panel contributing well.

Busy game with every member of the panel getting a run out to give Drumragh 4 its in their first 3 games in the league.
