Drumragh minor boys lost out to Kildress in the league at Clanabogan Park last Sunday.
A tight first half saw Drumragh lead by two points at half-time. Kildress got the game’s first two scores from a couple of frees, but Drumragh hit back through Ryan Baxter and Niall Maguire. Ryan Montgomery was also on target in the opening 30 minutes.
James Fyffe hit a goal for Drumragh in the second half and tagged on a point. It remained a tight contest heading into the final 10 minutes. But despite further points from Ryan Montgomery and Conor Gormley, a late scoring burst from Kildress was enough for them to secure the win.
