Drumragh U16 boys progressed to the next round of the championship following a win away to Rock on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Ryan Baxter, Tiernan O’Donnell and Matthew Barrett, along with Matt Gallagher, Shea Mullin and Joseph Taggart points, helped give Drumragh the lead at the break.
Conor Fyffe, Niall Burt and Connor McLaughlin were at the centre of much of Drumragh’s best attacks in the opening 30 minutes, with Matthew Barrett and Oisin Walsh performing well in the centre of the defence.
The home side kept in touch with some impressive shooting, hitting some excellent long-range frees along with a couple of good scores from play.
Drumragh defended brilliantly in the second half with Niall Burt, Oisin Joseph Taggart and James Gallagher, along with goalkeeper Matthew O’Doherty, restricting the chances for the home side.
Dara Cox and Lorcan Starrs added second-half goals, while both players were also on target with points.
Drumragh played some super attacking football after the break with James Fyffe, Shea Mullin, Niall Gormley, Matt Gallagher and Conor Fyffe all tagging on some fantastic scores from play.
It was a true team effort from Drumragh, with each player and every sub playing a role.
