Our Senior Ladies came away with a draw this evening after a thrilling sixty minutes of football. The Ladies took an early lead with points from Neamh Woods and Rachel Cleary while Clodagh Loughran hit the net with a goal. Neamh added a further goal while Claire McSorley extended the lead to 8 points.
Dromore responded with a succession of points before half time while Drumragh added another point from Leah Quinn. Drumragh were two points up going into the second half and Neamh Woods extended the lead with a quick first minute point. Rachel Cleary, Neamh and Eva McCaul all added further points.
It was Dromore who dominated the next 15 minutes, adding two goals and three points without response. With time ticking away Neamh Woods and Amy Cox added two further points to close the gap but it was a late goal from Eva McCaul which secured a point.
Well Done to the Ladies on an excellent performance in their second Intermediate game.
